"Outstanding Service" - AON

In January, we brought together more than 600 of our leaders for our two most important internal meetings of the year—The Leader Forum, and The Rally 2014 (our annual kick-off).

It was an important week for us, and I wanted to take a moment to thank you and your staff for the outstanding service we received, hosting such a large group for several days. Three of your employees were integral to the success of both events, and we are grateful for their exceptional service.

Our organizations partnered well with each other, and we are so pleased with our mutual ability to deliver such an outstanding event.

 

 

"Attentiveness to Needs" - United Airlines

This has been our organizations second opportunity to work with Hilton Chicago and our Events Manager, we continue to be amazed by her level of service and her attentiveness to our individual needs.  She is the type of professional who makes the logistical side of my job a breeze, which helps make time for me to manage everything else I have to do during our stay. She is always responsive to our requests, is able to come up with creative solutions, treats us like we are her only business (even though I know she has other clients) and she is a great person to work with – she cares about how we are doing personally and professionally, which is very important to us. There are countless times when she will just drop by to ensure that everything is going well.

As a member of United Airlines and someone who plans our groups travel needs, I will always recommend Hilton Chicago for our conference work because I am supremely confident that all of our needs will be met with that personal touch that can only be conveyed by the very best people in the profession.  Simply stated, she is the reason why we choose Hilton Chicago.

 

 

"Responsiveness and Attention to Detail" - The Association of Credit and Collection Professionals

ACA enjoyed a very smooth and successful annual convention thanks to you and your awesome team.    Your follow up pre-event during the event was excellent.    We had constant and problem solving attention during the event from you, the blue Coats as well as banquet and set up managers.  All meeting and F&B sets were on time, accurate and spot on.  Banquet food was excellent and well presented.  Rooming lists and reports were easy to read but with great detail and always timely.

As a long time hotelier and event planner I appreciate the ambiance and tradition of your Grand Dame hotel.  However, it is people that make the magic happen so it was so nice to see how well staffed, trained, knowledgeable, and hospitable your staff is daily with guests and meeting attendees as well as the warm personal interactions with each other.   It is obvious they take pride in their jobs, enjoy working together and know how to operate and take care of your iconic hotel.

As we stated before the meeting, our key points for success for this convention were flexibility, responsiveness and taking care of the VIP’s.   You did all this and more!  Mission accomplished.

I want to extend my personal thanks to you and your staff for all of your efforts in making the CAA conference such a success.  Our attendees loved the setting, and your excellent staff had so much to do with this positive response.  Although it’s a long way off, we look forward to our return in 2020.

The 2014 Assembly could not have gone better.  The Hilton Chicago team did a fantastic job. In particular, I was thoroughly impressed with the final night banquet. It was the hottest banquet food I’ve ever experienced. All staff that worked the USOC events were extremely helpful and personable. The staff at Hilton Chicago was very flexible.  There were numerous attendees who were affected by the air travel issues and all were accommodated.  Needless to say, this has been labeled a most successful Assembly!

Given our great site visit last fall and our consistent experience with the Hilton brand, our expectations coming to your property were already quite high. However as has become the custom when holding our meetings at Hilton Hotels, your top-notch team somehow managed to exceed our hopes on every front.

I’m sure large event success of this magnitude is the norm for you and your team…however from the very start, something about this whole experience struck me as almost magical…Once we arrived, the level of service your team promised last Fall became a reality. Your team and the many union folks that served our food, set our meeting spaces and cleaned our rooms were absolutely phenomenal…In essence, your people took care of us from start to finish…I’ve been exposed to some quality service along the way…I honestly think this was the best I’ve ever seen it done.

Thank you and your teammates for truly being extraordinary. We look forward to holding many meetings at Hilton properties in the future.

I want to make sure you know how amazing everyone at the Hilton Chicago has been to work with.

As you know, working within the constraints of government restrictions and limited funding is difficult under the best circumstances. I am dealing with lower than anticipated participation and registration revenue on this event, so there is the added stress of descoping the budget while maintaining performance minimums.

My event manager consistently goes above and beyond to respond quickly, come up with innovative problem solving ideas, and find ways to offer the most value for our budget. She is always confident, calm, and a complete pleasure to work with. She is a superstar.

My catering manager has also been proactive and helpful with making the most of my catering restrictions and allocations. His knowledge and experience make me know everything will go smoothly and all of our needs will be covered beautifully.

My Audio/Visual contacts have been proactive in finding ways to meet our a/v and technology-heavy demands with discounts and cost-conscious staffing.

…I cannot wait to get onsite and turn over operations to these talented and gracious professionals…
